Doñarepa is a Colombian precooked cornmeal. It is made from 100% corn and is 100% natural.
This flour is primarily used to make arepas, an extremely versatile dish that can be served as an appetizer, snack, or side dish. Arepas can become a complete meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, depending on whether you add meat, cheese, eggs, or vegetables—or a combination thereof.
In Colombia, arepas are usually made a little thinner than in Venezuela, where they are often used for sandwiches filled with meat or cheese, such as reina pepiada.
